Not sure if I'm renewing
2/13/08 0 CommentsNot sure yet as to whether or not I'll be renewing my membership. I'm still pretty bummed that I didn't get more than half of what was advertised in the Ultimate Loyal Freak ($99) membership and I can't see myself paying another $99 or anything else for that matter; to simply log onto a website and post a blog or receive updates every one in a while. Also, now that Criss is in Vegas and hasn't had his DVD signing this past December; who knows when will be the next time I'll ever get to see him in person in New York. I know, I know, I don't sound very "Loyal" but it's how I feel and yes, I know how busy Criss must be and how much he must have on his plate and I'm not his only fan.

2/4/08 0 CommentsWell it's already February and I'm trying to plan my vacation. Technically I don't get any vacation time until October! But I planned on taking a week off (my boss doesn't know I've already decided this) in July the week that Criss has his show opening but, then was reminded of the fact that I promised my mom I would go with her to Kentucky this summer to visit my Aunt! That is also in July! See the problem? Even If I do get off that week; which will definately be without pay since, as stated above, I don't really get vacation until October; I can't take two miscellaneous weeks in July! I'm thinking, I'm thinking! Anywho, when I do get vacation in October (if I decide to stay at the same job that long) I plan on taking a week off in October and another week off the last week of December (day after Christmas to the New Year) because I'm planning to be in Florida (my dad's 70th) he lives in New York but, my three of my sisters, my other nieces and other nephews all live in Florida. (I have a sister, brother, nieces and nephews here in New York as well). Even if I don't make it to Vegas the opening week of Criss' show, I'm thinking of going there 4th of July weekend and will just go again in October and see his show then.

I want to see Criss in wax
1/9/08 0 CommentsI've previously posted about my quest to get Criss into Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. I've recently fired off another email to the main attraction in London. It's probably going to be the longest email they ever got because I included Criss' bio. I also added that I do not work or have not been asked by Criss Angel or any of his affiliates to submit the request. If anyone else would like to send an email to them as well the email address is csc@madame-tussauds.com. If they send me a response; they did the last time, I will post it.

2008!
1/5/08 0 CommentsI can't believe it's 2008! Holy crap! The big 3-9 is right around the corner. I have to admit I am lookng foward to my 40 birthday. 40 to me is going to feel like 21 only because I feel like I'll finally have things figured out the way I should've back when I was 21! Does that make sense? I admire anyone who knows exactly what it is they want to do with their lives from early on or have some kind of idea what they might want to do. I was never one of these people who said "I want to be a (insert occupation here) when I grow up" I was interested in lots of different things but not anyone thing so much that I wanted to make it an occupation. Anyway, I'm pretty bummed that Criss didn't come for his Mindfreak DVD signing this past December the way he has the past couple of years. I know he's got the Luxor show being developed as we speak. So I'll have to fork over some cash and high tail it to Vegas, stay at the Luxor and hope to run into him. I've actually considered moving to Vegas to see what it's like (lot's of law firms - that's the industry I work in - Accounts Receivable Administrator / Legal Secretary) but, there are two problems 1) I'm not crazy about the hot weather and 2) I'm not really a nite life kind of person - not the seven nights a week kind of night life the way it seems in Vegas atleast. I've just had the urge for quite some time now to just pack up and head out to a totally different coast and give it a shot! I'm bored!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
1/2/08 0 CommentsI'm hoping this will be the year Madame Tussauds will consider adding Criss to their museum! I'm going to put together a kind of "press kit" with all kinds of stuff and hope they look at it. I'll make sure I make it clear that I'm doing this as "a fan" and not because Criss or anyone who works for him asked me too! Wish me luck
